In this workshop, you’ll learn how to design Flyback converters using a systematic, step-by-step approach that starts from the basics and goes down to the last component.

We cover all essential design procedures, decision-making processes, and calculations, with a focus on selecting the right components and incorporating safety margins. 

In this workshop we will teach how use of-the-shelf magnetics for your Flyback transformer. If a suitable off-the-shelf component is not available, as is sometimes the case with magnetic components, you will learn how to calculate and specify the information that your custom magnetics design partner needs to construct your part to the correct specifications.

By the end, you’ll have the skills to design fully functioning Flyback converters, complete with specific part numbers for each component.
